These collaborations have resulted in:
- Cotutelle agreement between the University of Sydney and the University of Glasgow to allow approved PhD students to be co-supervised by academics of both institutions
- Visiting professorships at the University of Sydney
Some of the CIRUS investigators hold valuable positions at prestigious institutes. Assoc Prof Shanta Rajaratnam remains a staff member of Harvard University and Assoc Prof Peter Liu, is an annually re-appointed research collaborator of the Mayo Clinic. Prof Ron Grunstein, Assoc Prof Peter Liu, Prof Peter Cistulli, Assoc Prof Nick Glozier, Prof Colin Espie, Prof Allan Pack, Assoc Prof Shanta Rajaratnam are involved in the World Sleep Federation research training consortium, PIERS (Program for International Exchange in Research in Sleep).
